A feature film on the real history of the battle at the railway station of Kruty in the winter of 1918. Two brothers Andrey and Olex Savitsky fall in love with beautiful Sofia against the background of fateful events in the country. Bolsheviks approach to Kiev, the city is filled with «red» agents. The Government of the UNR is throwing all the fighting forces, including the junkers and students, at the enemy. Four hundred young men, among them Andrey and Olex, are against 4-thousandth well-armed troops.
