WHO WE ARE

MMD UA is an international distributor of factual and scripted content, based in Kyiv, representing independent producers from Ukraine and managing theatrical, tv and digital rights, operating both within the Ukrainian and international market.

The company was founded in 2014 by Roman Martynenko, his profound knowledge of the market is rooted in over 20 years of experience working in the media industry. Throughout these years MMD UA has consolidated its positioning in the Ukrainian market, proving itself as a trustworthy company and a supplier of mainstream scripted and unscripted programming, ranging from feature films, TV series to documentaries. Since 2020 MMD UA is actively developing international distribution arm representing the most renowned local documentary and fiction projects produced by local indie producers. Also, the company is active as a sales agent, producer, and looking for international co-production partners.
