Tragicomedy «Tevye’s Daughters» won an award at the Treasure Coast International Film Festival

Vladimir Lert’s picture “Tevye’s Daughters” was selected as the opening film at the Treasure Coast International Film Festival (Florida, USA) and received an award for the best cinematography feature.
Director of photography of the film Dmitry Yashenkov was noted in the nomination “Best cinematography feature”.
The film’s project was one of the winners of the 2nd competition of the State Film Agency of Ukraine. The script of the picture is created by the play of playwright Grigory Gorin «Memorial prayer», based on the collection of works by Sholom-Aleichem «Tevye the Dairyman». The film was directed by Vladimir Lert and produced by Yuri Karnovsky, Maria Kael and Vladimir Lert.
Tevye the Dairyman lives in a small village in Ukraine. He is poor and believes that his daughters have one chance to escape poverty - a successful marriage. Tevye accepts a profitable proposition from a matchmaker, but his beautiful daughters have a different plan.
